Jaguar Land Rover has recalled a small but varied number of new vehicles over an oil leak problem that can lead to fire.
The 2024 Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar vehicles can experience a cracked oil filter housing that can lead to leakage in the engine compartment.
Britian’s biggest automaker recalled about 2,000 units across the five brands and is scheduled to mail notices to owners on Aug. 9.
Its dealers will replace the filter housing, oil filter and O-rings.
